Published by A R Mowbray in 1958, this book was intended for children and is a series of ‘pen portraits’ of Anglo-catholic notables
Go Quickly & Tell
This handbook about parish missions was published in 1959 and describes, in his own words the Hoey method of conduction mission
Leaves from the Tree of Heaven; Reflection on Prayer
First published in 1999 by Darton, Longman & Todd it was re-published by Trafford in 2007 and carries a forward by the late Cardinal Basil Hume OSB
Adventure into Silence: Making a Private Retreat
This volume was published by Darton, Longman & Todd in 2000
Additionally he actively co-operated in the preparation of a biographical memoir, Trembling on the Edge of Eternity by A Pinchin & G Jolly was published in 2015 by St Michael’s Abbey Press. A second edition was published in early 2016 to include an account of his 100th birthday Mass at Walsingham and which includes the sermon of Cardinal Nichols and the letter from Pope Emeritus, Benedict XVI
